‘The Lion King’ stole the Box Office crown again this week. Though ‘MoneyBall’ and ‘Dolphin Tale’ weren’t far behind, resulting in a tight race for that runner-up title.
‘Abduction’ and ‘Killer Elite’ both presented with some disappointing numbers. Taylor Lautner’s action-thriller was not well received by anyone who wasn’t a teenage girl and Jason Statham’s action-thriller was miles away from earning back it’s $66M budget.
Gerard Butler’s ‘Machine Gun Preacher’ only managed to generate $44,000 this weekend in its limited four-theatre release.
