So, this week offers up a pretty good selection of movies. There is even another one based on a true story, just in case you didn’t get enough of that last week. In addition to the Cancer comedy, the other movies involve a scary murder house, a horrifying(ly bad) romantic comedy and a wicked horror comedy.
“It takes a pair to beat the odds”
Directing: Jonathan Levine
Writing: Will Reiser
Starring: Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Seth Rogen, Anna Kendrick
Based on a true story, this is a comedy about a young guy who is diagnosed with cancer and his fight to beat his 50/50 odds of survival. Yup, it’s a comedy.
Price of Admission will get you some good laughs, but there is no way you aren’t going to need some tissues for this thing. We’re just not sure if they are for happy tears or sad tears.
Running Time · 99 min
Rated · R
“Once Upon A Time, There Were Two Little Girls Who Lived In A House”
Surprise, Surprise! A family moves into house that seems too good to be true – because it is! Soon they learn it’s a murder house and maybe haunted or maybe ol’ Boot-Faced Daniel Craig is just losing his mind…
Price of Admission will get you something that kinda looks like James Bond starring in ‘The Shining’.
Running Time · 92 min
Rated · PG-13
WHAT’S YOUR NUMBER?
“Ally’s Looking for the Best Ex of Her Life”

Writing: Gabrielle Allan, Jennifer Crittenden (screenplay), Karyn Bosnak (novel)
Starring: Anna Faris, Chris Evans, Ari Graynor
The House Bunny digs up some of her old boyfriends in hopes that one of them is Mr. Right. That’s what I call real lazy! You broke up with them for a reason, Faris!
Price of Admission will get you the opportunity to see a big screen version of the failed CBS sitcom “The Ex List” … remember that show? Yeah, That’s what I thought. And it was INFINITLY funnier than this movie!!
Running Time · 106 min
Rated · R
TUCKER AND DALE VS. EVIL (limited release)
“When Up Against Pure Evil… Just Giv’er”
Directing: Eli Craig
Writing: Eli Craig, Morgan Jurgenson
Starring: Tyler Labine, Alan Tudyk and Katrina Bowden
A couple of hillbillies head up to the mountains to chill out at their vacation home, only to have their R & R disturbed by a group of college kids who are also vacationing in the area.
Price of Admission will get you the best horror comedy since the ‘Evil Dead’ series! We’ve seen this movie and cannot recommend it enough! Tyler Labine and Alan Tudyk are absolutely amazing! Seriously, if the opportunity presents itself, go see this movie!
Running Time · 89 min
