Oh boy! We’re celebrating the magic and wonder of 11-11-11 with some fancy new embedded videos! You’re welcome!
Now from THIS page you can get a little taste of the glorious carnage of ‘Immortals’, the much-discussed DiCaprio performance in ‘J. Edgar’ or the slew of boring, one-dimensional jokes in ‘Jack and Jill’ courtesy of the Adam Sandler crap machine.
Also, let’s give some kudos to Geoff Pierson, who is in TWO of the big releases this week! Granted, one of them is ‘Jack and Jill’…
“The Gods Need a Hero.”
Directing: Tarsem Singh
Writing: Charley Parlapanides, Vlas Parlapanides
Starring: Henry Cavill, Mickey Rourke, John Hurt, Freida Pinto
Crazed, power-hungry King Hyperion declares war on humanity and scours Greece for a legendary bow with the power to destroy both Heaven and Earth.
Unfortunately there is a pesky old law restricting any intervention from the Gods. Even though it’s THEIR bow…and probably THEIR law … But, don’t worry; there is some hot peasant to rise up and save us all.
Price of Admission will get you some incredibly striking visuals, staggering battles and carnage but very little else.
Running Time · 110 min
Genre · Action / Drama / Fantasy
Rated · R
JACK and JILL
“His twin sister is coming for the holidays… …and it ain’t pretty.”
Directing: Dennis Dugan
Writing: Steve Koren (screenplay), Ben Zook (story)
Starring: Adam Sandler, Katie Holmes and Al Pacino
Every Thanksgiving Jack must suffer through a visit from his identical twin sister Jill. Much the same way the movie-going audience must suffer through an Adam Sandler movie every year.
Price of Admission will get you Adam Sandler stomping around in a dress screeching what he thinks passes as jokes. He’s essentially on the screen for the entire duration of the movie. Yikes!
Running Time · 93 min
Genre · Comedy
Rated · PG
“The Most Powerful Man in the World.”
Directing: Clint Eastwood
Writing: Dustin Lance Black
Starring: Leonardo DiCaprio, Armie Hammer, Naomi Watts
Clint Eastwood directs this biopic of FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover. Focusing on his career as well as personal life and the rumours of his homosexuality. Personally, we would certainly shove Naomi Watts out of the way to get to Armie Hammer any day of the week! Even if we were dudes!
Price of Admission will get you poor under appreciated Leonardo DiCaprio trying again for an Oscar nomination.
Running Time · 137 min
Genre · Biography / Drama
Rated · R
