Box Office Results · November 27, 2011

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 continued to suck money from its hapless victims… we mean fans; we mean…well, you know what we mean.

Looks like people wanted to spend the holiday pepper-spraying other customers, brawling over $2 Waffle Irons and watching a wussy vampire his bratty child-bride struggle through their marital troubles.

The reboot of the Muppets also did very well this weekend. This time those friendly and adorable little felt creatures were much more successful at the box office than in some of their previous ventures. With positive reviews from both critics and audiences it looks like they truly did save the ol’ Muppet Theatre! Glad to have you all back!

Arthur Christmas and Hugo rounded out the top 5, in the fourth and fifth spots respectively. With glowing reviews for both of these holiday flicks, they are sure to be around until all the presents are opened.
