Midseason T.V. Premieres – Jan 12, 2012
Whoever gave Rob Schneider a sitcom must be found, smacked and run out of hollywood or wherever it is they make television shows. His new series ‘Rob!’ premieres tonight at 8:30 PM on CBS. To make things worse, the plot of this show is essentially a loser marries a hot Mexican-American chick after a too-short relationship. She has a stereotypically crazy extended family who he must now convince that he’s not a total buffoon. Were it not for ‘Last Man Standing’ still being on the air, this would be our most hated show and we haven’t even seen it yet.
There is hope for that half hour tonight though! Leslie Knope and the rest of the Pawnee Parks Department return from the Christmas break at 8:30 PM on NBC. ‘Parks and Recreation’ is one of the funniest shows on television and it deserves more viewers than it gets, so we beg of you, tune into this instead of the atrocity above!
Also premiering tonight:
30 Rock – NBC 8 PM
The Finder – FOX 9 PM
Also returning tonight:
Bones – FOX 8 PM
The Big Bang Theory – CBS 8 PM
The Office – NBC 9 PM
Up All Night – NBC 9:30 PM
