Big excitement this weekend in the SurlyGurls camp as ‘Cabin in the Woods‘ finally is released! We’ve been waiting for a damn long time for this movie and are pretty excited. Reviews and audience reactions are good and maybe this clever little twisted horror flick could take down Katniss and company.

At the total other end of the spectrum is 2012 update of  ‘The Three Stooges‘. Why anyone would think that today’s movie audiences would pay $15 bucks to sit through an hour and a half of grown men poking each other in the eye is beyond us. This thing is going to tank; like we’re talking a ‘Bucky Larson‘ level bomb!!

Your best bet: Hands down, is ‘Cabin in the Woods’.

If an old man warns you not to go there… make fun of him.

About surlygurls

We’re two SurlyGurls brought together by a love of all things awesome and an equal hate of all things which are an affront to awesomeness everywhere.

  1. Yes, I don’t think the Three Stooges movie is really necessary…

  2. What is going on with this movie? Are they supposed to be the actual three stooges? The actors? Why is it set in present day? What the hell is happening? I could probably find the answers by watching the preview but I can’t seem to press play.
